I am really enjoying retirement. I am president of the local miniature club, and have been for the past 35 years. I have a miniature collection (museum) in the lower half of my house, where senior groups and scout troops come to visit. It's really fun, and beats working. Yes, they are small. We work in three scales. (1 inch to the foot, 1/2 inch to the foot, and 1/4 inch to the foot) I started with one large dollhouse and the collection just grew from there.
I also lost several family members in the last five years, so I spent a lot of time at funerals. I missed my entire junior year of high school due to illness, and it has left me with a few health issues. But, I refuse to let it keep me from enjoying life.
