When I read your email, my first reaction was "there's nothing new in my life since 2010." However, I guess there have been a few significant events, so here goes!
Our son's second child was born in 2011 so we now have 2 grandsons---Alex, 7 and Max, 4.
I have 2 new knees after replacement surgeries in August, 2013, and January 2014. Gradually and carefully we have returned to ballroom dancing, and we're now about up to speed. (Incidentally, we usually go to Milwaukee to dance!)
We are much less adventuresome with our travels, preferring now what my husband calls "lead and feed" tours. Road trips also work well. Mostly, we stay home!
In 2011 we began developing a prairie on 90 acres of Illinois farmland. It has required countless hours of work (mostly for my husband) but also provides us with countless hours of pleasure. There is nothing like walking through a tallgrass prairie to soothe one's soul in these troubled and unsettling times.
