Since the 50th homecoming letter I submitted five years ago, much has taken place in my life. As some of you may remember, my wife passed away just a week before that celebration event (which I did not attend). Approximately one year later, I met a wonderful woman who became my spouse in September of 2012.

Being both retired (2nd time) and re-married, the direction of my life and activities changed dramatically. The year 2013 involved a lot of travel (Hawaii, Alaska, Mexico, and areas throughout the lower 48 states). Then in 2014, our "project" was the building of a new home, even though many felt we were a bit "crazy" to do this at our age. We were totally involved and enjoyed it thoroughly. Now, in 2015, we are getting settled in and back to more of our travels and "normal" activities.

In summary, I feel I (we) have been truly blessed in so many ways--physically, mentally, etc.--and continue to enjoy life to the fullest.
